Do any of you remember Chiltern Firehouse. A great restaurant in its own right of course, but not really raved about as much these days. Well, Lisboeta is brought you by the acclaimed Portuguese chef Nuno Mendes, who basically gave the Firehouse is great reputation, and Michelin stars to a number of other restaurants. Lisboeta is the latest high end eatery that is said to actually channel “the culinary spirit of Lisbon”. A very relaxed and comfortable dining experience, with exciting menus.
Itaku in Fitzrovia
Itaku is a wonderful choice, brought to you from the acclaimed French Restaurateur Jean-Bernard Fernandez (formerly chef at Osteria in Francescana Italy), that entwines two of the most popular cuisines in the world: Italian and Japanese. We love fusion restaurants when they’re done well, and Fernandez has done a wonderful job here, with chef Ivan Simeoli. This place has to be on your “to do” list.
